The roadway reconstruction contract for Old Town was awarded on May 6. A public information meeting for the project will be held on June 5, at 5 p.m., at Public Works, 14400 Coil Plus Drive. The project includes roadway reconstruction, sidewalk and driveway apron replacement, ADA pedestrian improvements, the addition of decorative streetlights, drainage work, and parkway restoration along Lockport, Eastern, Bartlett, Center, Amboy, and Evans. The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2025.
