The Management Services Department is managed by the Assistant Village Administrator/Management Services Director and is responsible for all accounting, financing and financial reporting functions of the Village, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Miscellaneous Billing, Human Resources/Payroll, Utility Billing, Revenue Collections, and investment of the Village’s funds.
Management Services also oversees the administration of the Information Technology and the Facility Management Programs. The Management Services Department is also responsible for the preparation, presentation, and administration of the annual Village budget.
The Village is audited annually by an external independent accounting firm to assure compliance with accounting standards and reporting along with local, state, and federal regulations. Internal controls are reviewed to assure the safeguard of assets and to prevent irregularities. Throughout the year, the Management Services Department works to assure that the Village is in compliance with financial and reporting regulations and ensuring that internal controls are maintained.
