Settlers Park

Settlers' Park is a 20+ acre park located in Historic Downtown Plainfield, just south of the Village Hall. The park features the Richard A. Rock Amphitheater, a History Walk, a restored War Monument, a lake, open space, a picnic shelter, playground/tot lot, a StoryWalk, and walking trails.

Settlers' Park represents a meeting of the old and new in Plainfield. It was developed to provide the community with a connection to nature as well as a place to gather. It is many things to many people... a glimpse back in time; a place to explore, reflect, and relax; a tribute to the Village's beginnings; and a celebration of the community's past, present, and future.

Whether you find your way to the park to exercise, play, or unwind... Take time to enjoy Settlers' Park and what it has to offer.

Settlers Park is also home to the Village's annual summer concert series and movies in the park. Be sure to join us as a variety of bands and musicians showcase their talents throughout the summer. The Village and Plainfield Park District also cosponsor movies in the park. Movie lovers are sure to enjoy a variety of fun, family-friendly movies.
