Home MenuFingerprinting
We are available to fingerprint Village of Plainfield residents for employment, adoption, licensing, or background investigations Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Fingerprinting is done on a walk-in basis; however, we are only able to provide the service if a Community Service Officer (CSO) is available. Please call the Records Division in advance at (815) 267-7241 to see if a CSO is available (call volume permitting).
If you are not a resident of the Village of Plainfield (a Plainfield mailing address does not necessarily ensure Village residency), contact your municipality for assistance with fingerprinting requests.
Digital fingerprinting utilizing LiveScan is only permitted for those seeking their criminal history record known as Access and Review. For any other purposes that require digital fingerprinting, please refer to the Illinois State approved LiveScan vendors.
